For 60 years the Jacksonville Speech & Hearing Center has provided professional compassionate care to literally thousands of children and adults in the Jacksonville area, providing them with the necessary communications tools to live fuller and more productive lives.

MAKE A DONATION

The Jacksonville Speech and Hearing Center has received a generous grant from the Jessie Ball duPont Fund wherein every donated dollar to the Center will be matched by the duPont Fund up to $150,000. As such, a $100 donation to the Center will become $200.00. This is the best possible time to support the Speech and Hearing Center in order to take full advantage of this matching grant.

Your Donation Can:

  • Help someone hear for the first time
  • Help a child overcome speech problems that affect his ability to succeed in school
  • Help a senior hear again or overcome speech challenges because of a stroke or other medical event

Early Childhood Success is important to the child’s future as well as our community’s future. Many preschool children we serve come from low income families, with little or no insurance. Private donations help us provide speech therapy to these children and prepare them for school.

Many seniors who come to us for services have Medicaid Insurance which covers only a small portion of the cost of serving them. Your donations help to bridge this gap and ensure that these valuable services are available to all who need them.
